Indian Orchard Elementary

Parent Teacher Organization

“Together, We Strengthen the Orchard..”

Welcome

The Indian Orchard Elementary Parent Teacher Organization, Inc. (IOE PTO) is a parent-led, community-centered organization committed to making school a safer, stronger, and more supportive place for every child. We bring families, educators, and school leadership together to solve problems, celebrate progress, and ensure our children feel seen, heard, and valued at Indian Orchard Elementary.

This PTO was formed by parents who believe that when families are informed and involved, schools work better for everyone. Our work is rooted in collaboration, accountability, and respect.

We are not here to fight the school or work against the administration and educators. We are here to stand with students, support educators, and push for a healthier system that works better for everyone, especially the children.

Independence and Collaboration

The Indian Orchard Elementary Parent Teacher Organization, Inc. is an independent, parent-governed organization formed under Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 180. We collaborate with Indian Orchard Elementary and Springfield Public Schools, but decisions, officers, and priorities of the PTO are determined by its parent membership.

School staff may attend and participate in meetings as partners, but the PTO remains parent-led to ensure families have a clear, protected voice.
