Story
From Educator to Empowering Others
As an educator with over 20 years of experience, I’ve seen firsthand the challenges that teachers, directors, and administrators face daily. I understand the pressure of running an inclusive classroom where everyone feels supported and heard. I’ve lived through the stress of feeling like everything falls on your shoulders, and I know what it’s like to struggle with burnout.
My journey took an unexpected turn when I was diagnosed with agoraphobia in 2019 and had to leave my career in education. As difficult as it was, this transition sparked a new path—one where I could still make a difference, but in a broader way. I began helping small business owners and nonprofits, guiding them through strategic planning, grant writing, and brand development. I was honored in 2023 for the Give Her, Her Flowers award for outstanding small busness, non-profit and community support. This work enabled me to utilize the skills I had honed over the years in education to support individuals looking to grow and thrive, just as I had helped my students succeed.
Over time, I found myself drawn back to education, but in a different capacity. I realized that educator assistance and employee retention were two areas in which I was deeply passionate. Teachers are the backbone of our educational system, and they deserve to feel supported, valued, and heard. That’s why I created my Educator Assistance & Employee Retention Program, which focuses on improving morale, retention, and creating environments where teachers, students, and administrators can all thrive together.
Through workshops, professional development, and coaching, I empower educators to lead, grow, and feel inspired again. The same strategies I used to help businesses grow now apply to the classroom and school environment.
